Terms of Use

Effective date: July 12, 2026

Agreement

By downloading or using TrackBuds ("the app"), you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What TrackBuds does — and its limits

TrackBuds helps you locate nearby Bluetooth devices using signal strength. Detection depends on factors outside our control: a device must be powered on and emitting a Bluetooth signal, and signal readings are affected by walls, interference, and the device itself. We do not guarantee that any device can be detected or found. TrackBuds is a search aid, not a certified tracking or anti-theft system, and must not be relied on to locate people or for safety-critical purposes.

Acceptable use

You may use TrackBuds only to locate devices you own or are authorized to find. You must not use the app to track people, to locate devices belonging to others without permission, or in any way that violates applicable law.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of devices the app was unable to locate. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Changes take effect when posted on this page with an updated effective date; continued use of the app after that constitutes acceptance.
